What happens in Vegas...

...stays in Vegas. But that doesn't mean I can't blog a thing or two. For my first vacation in two years, it was a doozy. Tho I have to admit, the convention aspect of it did detract a little bit from its vacationy-ness. I learned some good stuff. And I won some money, which is how they get you to come back, I hear.

We met a wonderful pair of Scottish Girlgeeks from Glasgow waiting on line for the Star Trek Experience. I half hope that one of them will somehow see this post and contact me...but that's an idle hope I suppose. They were nice and seemed a good deal of fun...not to mention Fans.

I played only a little BlackJack, and wish I had understood more about Casinos before going, because each aspect was rather intimidating at first, but great fun once I got over my nervousness. A friend of mine wants to celebrate her birthday at the local riverboat casino...that'll give me a chance to "practice up" a bit for next time.

Oh, and the girls were, I'm told, quite good. Fearful the first day, but they came out to play after a while, and Cassie even cuddled on the sofa with Diane. Yay!
