I'd have like to have posted a little loss (is -.2 too much to ask for!?) but after 3 helpings of dessert on Sunday, I figure I should shut up and sing. I'll stick with program this week and eschew sodium better early next week, and we should see a nice little loss.
Important too, because I just bought a skirt at 4th Street that's about 5 pounds too tight. It's an Ann Taylor size 8. I was about to buy the matching jacket (which will be great with jeans) as it was on sale for $10, and decided in the dressing room (not knowing the skirt price offhand) that I'd get the too-tight skirt if I could get the whole outfit for $15. So I got it. It's a goal piece...I'll make a goal out of being able to wear it in public.
In other news, I've been whitening my teeth, and I have tip for evening snackers. Get yourself a box of the original style whitening strips, the kind that you are supposed to use twice a day for two weeks. (They run about $20 for the store brand, or look for a sale on the name brand.) Instead, use them only in the evening when the snack urges usually hit for a month. Once you put one on, that's a half hour that you can't nosh junk. Then once the half-hour is up, you'll want to brush your teeth to get the goo off...and who wants junk food immediately after toothbrushing? After a month, the habit of snacking in the evening will be broken, and you'll have pretty white pearlies to boot!
