This book is far from easy to read, but it does raise some very intriguing inquiries into the nature of YHVH as described in the Hebrew bible. Through reading it, I learned some sympathy for those who are confused by their own deity, and enjoyed working up my own ideas of how socio-political movements might have affected His demeanor. Definately an interesting read and a top notch book.
